OAHS provides each student with a Chromebook. Chromebooks provide our students with a 21st Century classroom experience, which allow them to utilize tools that will prepare them for the rigor of college. Each OAHS student is assigned a Chromebook that they are able to use in the classroom and at home. Our students use these devices to complete work, conduct research and submit assignments. All of our Chromebooks utilize G Suite for Education, a Google product, to complete tasks and communicate with teachers in and out of the school environment. Student safety at school is very important to us, but it is also equally as important when students are at home and are online. OAHS monitors Chromebook use with GoGuardian. GoGuardian is an educational company with software that helps schools protect their students online. GoGuardian allows us to have web filtering at school plus anywhere the student takes the device.
