Leslie Beasley is an Oakstone tiger like no other! During her time as an Oakstone Tiger she exemplified excellence in everything she did. Leslie began at Oakstone in 2006 in second grade and graduated in 2016. While at oakstone she was a prominent member of several extracurricular activities. Leslie was captain of the volleyball team and  member of the leadership team from its beginning her 7th grade year. By doing so she was one of few to be presented with the leadership team founders award! Even while juggling sports and leadership she was still able to maintain an astounding 4.3 GPA. Leslie finished her highschool career as the salutatorian and was inducted into the national honors society. Leslie continued to make great strides after high school attending  Bluffton University. During her time at Bluffton she was a residential advisor for 2 years and was promoted to housing director of her hall her senior year. She continued her incredible academic career at Bluffton sustaining a 3.7 GPA. By doing so Leslie was able to become a member of the C. Henry Smith Scholars. The C. Henry Scholars are students who are able to maintain High academic performance in independent studies and academic substance of courses taken while contributing to the community at large. Leslie also received the distinguished Scholar award within her major! Since graduating from Bluffton University Leslie has returned to Oakstone Academy as an intervention specialist working to make sure our students have the appropriate accommodations necessary. Leslie continues to impact the Oakstone community as part of our staff, creating a better future for Oakstone tigers like herself. Lellie Beasley is a loved and greatly valued member of the Oakstone community that has given her all to our school. We are honored to call Leslie an Oakston Tiger and love to see her creating tiger cubs that will follow in her footsteps!
