Early Childhood: Curriculum

Our young learners are offered a curriculum rich in experiences that develop their intellectual, language, motor, and social-emotional development. Through exploration and play, children are encouraged to learn through activities of touching, seeing, hearing, and moving, while interacting with the environment and each other. Exposure to literacy, art, music, math, science, and social studies in an age-appropriate manner helps facilitate curiosity and a love for learning.

Our young learners are engaged in a rich, developmentally appropriate curriculum designed to support intellectual, language, motor, and social-emotional growth. Through purposeful play and exploration, children are encouraged to learn by seeing, hearing, touching, and moving, while actively interacting with their environment and peers. Age-appropriate exposure to literacy, art, music, math, science, and social studies nurtures curiosity and inspires a lifelong love of learning.

Consistent, predictable routines provide a sense of security, helping children build confidence, independence, and respect for others. Across the school and within each classroom, teachers intentionally foster positive interactions that promote collaboration, communication, and a strong sense of community and belonging.

With small class sizes—supported by one licensed teacher and two qualified teacher assistants—each child receives meaningful individual attention, encouragement, and guidance. This supportive environment ensures that every learner is known, valued, and empowered to grow.
